Abstract
The mission of VRmaster is to bring Virtual Reality to everyone.
This is why we are building VRapp.co, an online platform that enables anyone to easily share and experience VR on the web. My talk will have two threads that I will interleave. I will talk about the ideas behind VRapp.co, which uses both WebGL (Three.js) and CSS3D to render VR, show-case its current state and tell about our “VR machine” architecture. But it wouldn’t be any fun to not code during the presentation! So I will attempt to guide you through a minimal implementation to render a VR representation of a 360° degrees spherical image in a browser. This implementation will be partially based on the code sample provided atvr.chromeexperiments.com. Last, I would like to talk about the future of VR in the browser.
